I have been painting birds for a long time and have always loved drawing them. After finishing my Masters in Printmaking in Cambridge, UK. I started to focus on wood engraving because it was something I could do at home in my studio. Up until this year I was mainly engraving very small prints, but during lockdown, when I got stuck in Scotland, I was able to focus more fully on producing larger pieces and this is one that I created whilst staying with my very good friend.
