Two plate etching
The weights are placed next to the first plate, so that the plate can be taken away (very carefully!) and the second plate is placed against the weights. Once this is done, the weights are once again, carefully removed and the paper is dropped down onto of the second plate.

Total perfection. The colours of the aspens in the Sangre de Cristos makes for a special painting trip. Best time of the year in New Mexico.

Diva (my dog) and I often go out to Bourne Woods. I get to do some plein air sketching and she gets a good run around in the woods. Perfect!
