During ‘lockdown’ I was unable to return to the US after visiting family in the UK. Fortunately, I had arranged to visit my long time friend, Jasmin, in Scotland and consequently my ‘lockdown’ experience was lovely. She has the most glorious garden and I spent the whole 5 months painting and making wood engravings of her flowers, birds and garden.
