For those flying from the US, I am not able to give an accurate cost at the moment because it will depend upon how many people sign up. However, I have worked out roughly that it will cost around $1500 to $1600 for the week, (approx. $820 for single occupancy - the most expensive room, for 7 nights, including breakfast, add on food and transportation) - excluding airfare.
This is an exceptionally beautiful part of Scotland which includes the Tweed River Valley, an area I am very familiar with. The closest town is a place called Biggar, which has the charm of a village, but also has a couple of good restaurants and coffee shops, and a great delicatessen with excellence cheeses! Depending upon requirements, I can meet students from the airport in Edinburgh, (45 minutes away) but you may wish to be independent and hire your own vehicle. If I get a large enough group, I will hire a small 'people mover' as we call them in the UK! A Honda Odyssey equivalent, seating 7 persons.
We can also discuss painting the following week on a more informal basis, with me acting as a driver and guide, since I will be there anyway!
