The weights are placed next to the first plate, so that the plate can be taken away (very carefully!) and the second plate is placed against the weights. Once this is done, the weights are once again, carefully removed and the paper is dropped down onto of the second plate.
Inking up the first state of my cloud etchings. Only 10 more to go!
For my butterfly project.
Painting in the Sangre de Cristos
Total perfection. The colours of the aspens in the Sangre de Cristos makes for a special painting trip. Best time of the year in New Mexico.
Sangre de Cristo plein air painting.
Painting at El Rancho de los Golondrinos.
This is really one of my favourite places to paint.
Pastels in Bourne Woods
Diva (my dog) and I often go out to Bourne Woods. I get to do some plein air sketching and she gets a good run around in the woods. Perfect!
I think she was probably thinking it was time to go home!
I love this time of the year, when the colours are so bright.
I finally got some shelves for my studio! Full up already!
